10) Costel Pantilimon: 6ft 8 (2.03m)

Starting at number 10 is Costel Pantilimon, he is a Romanian goalkeeper born on 1st February 1987 and stands at a height of 6ft 8inches tall.
After playing for Politehnica from 2006-2012, he was signed for Manchester City on an initial loan, serving as a backup goalkeeper for Joe Hart. He played as the starting goalkeeper in the 2013-14 League Cup for Manchester City, which they went on to win. He was transferred to Sunderland in 2014 and played there for 2 years.
9) Lacina Traore: 6ft 8 (2.03m)

Next up at number 9 is Lacina Traore, he is an Ivorian footballer born on 20th May 1990.
People called him “The Big Tree'' due to his 6ft 8inches frame. He came into everyone’s sight when Monaco bought him in 2014 But is mostly known for his brief time with Everton on loan from Monaco, scoring on his debut in the FA cup, but a hamstring injury ruled him out until the final game of the season where he made his only league appearance as an injury time substitute. He last played as a forward for Portuguese Club Varzim S.C.
8) Tor Hogne Aaroy: 6ft 8.5 (2.04m)

Next at number 8 is Tor Hogne Aaroy, a former Norwegian forward born on 20th March 1977. He stands at 6ft 8.5 inches tall and made his debut in 1997 with Spjelkavik IL.
At the start of the 2001 season he joined second-tier club Aalesund, having previously had a short spell with the club in the autumn of 1997. In his first season back, he scored 11 goals in 26 games. The next season, he would help Aalesund win promotion to the Norwegian top league for the first time in their history. In 2011, Aarøy moved to Japanese Club JEF United Chiba, before returning to Aalesund in 2013, where he played his last two seasons of his career.
7) Yang Changpeng: 6ft 8.5 (2.05m)

Representing China at number 7 is Yang Changpeng, born on 1st May, 1989 he stands at 6ft 8.5 inches.
He made his Youth Career Debut in 2005, in 2006, he was scouted by Bolton Wanderers and was invited to a one-month trial in England where he was dubbed as China’s “Peter Crouch” by the British Media due to his extreme height and tall stature.
After his brief spell in England he returned to his country playing for several Chinese clubs.
6) Tonny Brogaard: 6ft 9 (2.06m)

Next up at number 6 is Tonny Brogaard, a Danish goalkeeper born on 10th February 1984, who last played at Boldklubben Frem in the Danish 1st Division. He stands at a huge 6ft 9inches.
Playing as a reserve goalkeeper for Danish amateur club Fremad Amager, he was brought to English club Doncaster Rovers in May 2005. One of the tallest players in the league, Nielsen was known as "The Gentle Giant" of football. He did not find much playing time at Doncaster due to injuries, and only played one game in the pre-season.
5) Vanja Ivesa: 6ft 9 (2.06m)

Our number 5 is Vanja Ivesa, a retired Croatian goalkeeper born on 21st July 1997. He stands at 6ft 9inches tall.
Iveša's career spanned over 26 years of professional football, during which he played for numerous clubs in Croatia, Turkey and Australia. He last played for NK Opatija. On 17th February 2018, Iveša became the oldest ever player to have played in the Croatian First Football League.
4) Kyle Hudlin: 6ft 9 (2.06m)

Coming in on the 4th spot is Kyle Hudlin, born 15th June 2000, he is recognized as being one of the tallest footballers in the world currently playing with a height of 6ft 9inches.
Hudlin signed for Solihull Moors in October 2020. After scoring 13 goals in 58 National League games for the club, and 15 in 62 games in all competitions, he signed for Huddersfield Town in July 2022 on a two-year contract, initially joining their B team. Later that month he moved on loan to AFC Wimbledon.
3) Paul Millar: 6ft 10 (2.08m)

At number 3 we have Paul Millar, a Scottish forward born on 12th April 1988, who last played for Deveronvale. Standing at 6ft 10inches tall, Millar is widely recognized as the third tallest player in world football to date. He is mostly acknowledged for his performance for Elgin City FC between 2010 and 2014. Elgin City FC staff had to heighten the entrance because of his height.
2) Kristof Van Hout: 6ft 10 (2.08m)

Coming in second on our list, is Kristof Van Hout, a Belgian goalkeeper born on 9th February 1987, he stands at a height of 6ft 10inches.
Van Hout joined Willem II in 2004 from Verbroedering Geel as a youth player. He then had spells at Kortrij, Standard Liège, Genk, Delhi Dynamos and Westerlo. Van Hout signed a one-season contract with Lommel in May 2022.
1) Simon Bloch Jorgensen: 6ft 10.5 (2.10m)

We’ve finally come to the last player and the tallest footballer, Simon Bloch Jørgensen, born 1st September 1992 he is a Danish goalkeeper with an incredible height of 6ft 10.5inches, he is considered the tallest football player in history.
Born in Flensburg, Germany, Bloch spent his early career with Frem, FC Copenhagen, Boldklubben af 1893 and Boldklubben 1908. He left Frem in November 2016 by mutual consent, after making 53 appearances for them. He then had spells at Waltham Forest, Brønshøj, Accrington Stanley, Whitehawk, Greve IF, Dulwich Hamlet and Waltham Abbey.
