Bendtner began his professional career in 2005 when he joined Arsenal, but was soon shipped out on loan to Birmingham City after hiding in ladies' restrooms to avoid school classes.

This is where his love life took a dramatic turn. Bendtner was reportedly visiting strip clubs 4-5 times a week, when gaffer Steve Bruce demands an explanation, Bendtner informs him the rumours are false - it's 5 times. Bruce is so stunned that Bendtner feared he was having a heart attack.

Bendtner then starts to settle down with a wonderful young woman,  the only issue? It's Steve Bruce’s daughter, Amy.

However, his love life wasn't the only source of drama for Bendtner. He rejoins Arsenal, and on one reckless night at a casino, he lost £400,000 and totaled his Aston Martin on the way to training. Believing it was his shirt number that was causing his string of bad luck, Bendtner switched to a new number, but things only got worse.

He got in a fight with striker partner Emmanuel Adebayor during a 5-1 loss to Spurs. Adebayor gave him a bloody nose, and the pair were fined two week's wages. But this isn't the last of his troubles.

Bendtner had developed an appetite for sex. After one game, he and a teammate snuck girls into the hotel pool. But his promiscuous lifestyle comes back to haunt him, when he's blackmailed by a girl who claims she's pregnant with his child. She threatens to go public unless he buys her a boob job. This led him to stick to only prostitutes, as he later explained in his autobiography: "It’s less risky... You hardly dare do the deed with a ‘civilian’ any longer."

In 2009, Bendtner then started dating Danish Baroness Caroline Luel-Brockdorff, and had a son with her, earning himself a new nickname: Lord Bendtner. but the relationship was short-lived. But the nickname became a legitimised title in 2015 when a Danish magazine purchased a prestigious piece of Scottish land on the player’s behalf.

Former manager, Steve Bruce pops up again and offers Bendtner the opportunity to join him at Sunderland. While his form picks up on the pitch, his luck is still out with the ladies. One night, he awakes to a loud crash and finds an ex-girlfriend has lobbed a cobblestone through the back window of his Porsche.

Then, for two tranquil years, Bendtner keeps himself out of trouble. But that comes crashing down one night in Copenhagen with a taxi driver. He allegedly took off his belt and started hitting the taxi as well as threatening the driver that he would 'f**k him' and also called him a 'little bitch'

As if that wasn't bizarre enough, he allegedly opened his trousers and rubbed himself alongside the car.

Bendtner somehow avoids arrest, but it's not long before he gets into trouble in Copenhagen, again. On a night out with his new girlfriend, Bendtner clashes with another taxi driver over a £4.80 fare, and ends up punching him in the face and receives a 50-day jail term.

After serving his sentence under house arrest, Bendtner signs for his hometown club, FC Copenhagen. The fans are delirious, and the club shop instantly sells out of Bendtner shirts. But they start having doubts when clips emerge from his first training session.

He only made 6 appearances before quitting. He then launched a reality show, pranking fellow celebs.

More recently, Bendtner has commented on Marcus Rashford's celebration. Alongside his incredible form has come a new celebration that sees Rashford point a finger towards his head. Bendtner shared a picture of him doing a similar celebration, alongside the caption: “Young gun making headlines and taking hits, for things that nowadays are completely normal.”

Bendtner is perhaps implying that he took a bit of stick for doing this celebration back in the day, and that Rashford isn’t facing the same level of scrutiny now.

The crazy life of Lord Bendtner is a rollercoaster ride filled with drama, love, and scandal, and it's safe to say that he will always be remembered for his entertaining antics.
